So much purple...

Well, here's a fan senshi that who looks more the type of fan senshi that people would have probably expected me to come up with...something a bit darker rather than all pretty and colourful like my SailorAnachron.

So now I introduce you all to SailorBlackNova, whom I didn't actually create, but rather she was originally created by my old friend Joshua Leary (who also drew This Picture) back around 1999 (I haven't heard from him since then, sadly). Anyway, Joshua pretty much designed a 'barebones' concept drawing of BlackNova, handed her to me, told me I could keep her and do what I wanted to with her...and so I have. She's come such a long way since then...I only which I knew what happened to those old concept sketches he did.

But anywho, this senshi isn't even remotely human. She played a major part in (accidently) destroying her home planet, and is possessed by an alien sword (simply know as 'The Artifact', the fucking thing embeds itself into her arm whenever she henshins, and hell if it doesn't hurt).

I used a picture of Chastity (from Chaos! Comics) as a reference for the pose, and I think BlackNova wound up a bit shorter and curvier than I originally intended. Oops. I love those boots though. All my fan senshi shall wear boots like that.
