I haven't had the chance to submit...well anything for awhile now due to real life getting in the way and my being too tired to submit afterwards. But things are dying down now so here's a new piece and before anyone says "She looks like X" let it be known that I was inspired by THIS PIECE.

Anyway, I've had this character on my mind for awhile now. Awhile back I was rereading Lady Death: The Odyssey and after seeing Brian Pulido and Steven Hughes (RIP) depiction of the Goddess Kali, the idea of a woman who could eat practically anything and not gain so much as an ounce wouldn't leave my head, and thus Ballari here was created.

I'm still thinking of some interesting back story for her, although at the moment I do have this: She is from New Delhi, is of Punjabi descent, and a Neo-Child who can dislocate her jaw like a snake to swallow things whole (the teethers are there to help in the swallowing process) and her stomach is sort of a "Hammer Space"; she doesn't seem to gain any weight from swallowing things whole so where it goes no one can know for sure.

She normally wears a mask over her mouth most of the time. She doesn't like giving people the willies.
